Jorge, it would be easier just to change it in the conf file. Once changed, you should rmmod and insmod the qla driver.

You should be ready to go.

lsmod will list the modules that are loaded. Locate the qlogic driver name.
rmmod qlogic driver
insmod qlogic driver

Or,
Change the QD setting and reboot the server.

Go it!! John - Do you know where I can go to see some Linux shell scripts samples? I need to write alert script for disk space, CPU, memory, SCSI bus errors, and etc.

this article is great, it seems for the tier 2 application like Exchange server in the DR environment can be reside in the HP MSA iSCSI SAN as it is cheaper than the EVA array.
