MSA 2000 Vdisks in Critical State after Redundant Power restored

MSA 2000 Vdisks in Critical State after Redundant Power restored

Currently My MSA 2000 has 2 Vdisks Configured with 10x146.8GB SAS Drives in each Vdisk running on a Raid10 Configuration,The MSA Has dual Controllers and has two extra 12x SAS Disk shelfs Installed and is sitsuated in a Fully redundant environment.

I lost Power on one PSU on each shelf After Power was restored ive noticed MY Vdisks are in a Critical State With 4 Disks in Each Vdisk being in a leftover State only way how i could rectify the Problem was to erase the metadata of the Disks set as leftover and add the disks Back as a Hotspares..'

Please can you explain to me why this has happened as the 2 shelfs and controller are connected redundantly for incidents like this
