MSA 2000fc upgradation

As i want to expand our storage size from 12 x 146 GB hdd, what steps do we need to take to expand the storage size and expand the LUN size. We have connected the Storage directly with only one Server DL380 G6 and need to expand the drive partitions as well. Please assist in this regard.
Thanks

Re: MSA 2000fc upgradation

Something to consider:
Buy an extra enclosure and put more/larger disks in there.
Replace the 146GB disks with larger disks - supposedly a quite tedious process with lots of rebuilding.

Are there any limitations in MSA2000 resizing?

Expanding a disk in an MSA2000 takes about 15GB/hour. See http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Disk-Array/MSA-2000-Expand-vdisk-performance/m-p/4226008#M27657

Especially with these MSA2000fc, make sure firmware is upgraded on both controllers and disks.

Expand partition depends on what OS you have.
