MSA 2012fc Shadow Copy to move data to new partitions

I have several arrays I want to shrink and recover space for other projects. Can I use Shadow Copy on the MSA 2012fc to move the files to a smaller array on another enclosure? I have several Windows 2003 partitions that are over sized. I want to create new smaller partitions. Move the files. Change the drive letter back to the original and remove the old larger partitions to recover space. I am upgrading to 2008 R2 x64 on the 64-bit servers. I am leaving the old 32-bit servers on 2003 and plan on upgrading software to versions that can work on 64-bit in 32-bit mode. How can I use shadow copy to accomplish this. Exchange 2007 and SQL 2005 will be migrated to new locations.
