MSA 2312i Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 64 BIT

I am trying to attach to a presented 4TB array. Of course, Disk Mgt. doesn't allow all of it to be used.

I used diskpart. Selected the disk. Convert GPT and get the error below.

Now, this same procedure worked every time on my 32 BIT Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2. I have 7 servers to set up with the 64 BIT and get the error below.

Please help!

The disk you specified cannot be converted to GPT.
Please select an empty basic MBR disk to convert.

Yes, I tried that. I even deleted the volume on the MSA several times.

On the other servers I did the below and it worked every time. This server was in a cluster, but I evicted it to try this.

Create partition
Create Logical Drive
Format

Diskpart
List Disk
Select Disk
Convert GPT

This worked fine on all the others.

I would like to mention also...

When I right-click on the Disk in Disk Mgt on a 32 bit 2003 Server, the option is there to convert to GPT. But it is greyed out when I try that on the 64 bit.

I even presented the disk to a 32 bit 2003 Server and converted and hoped to present it to the 64 bit 2003 Enterprise R2 SP2 Server. Then I prsented it back (like when you build a cluster - this works in that regard).

I really am stumped here!

Any ideas?
