MSA 2324i Disk Lights Flashing Simultaneously

Our MSA2324i 24-slot is fully populated with  300Gb SAS drives and has 2 configured VDISKS.

I have turned off background disk scrubbing and the 'Current Job' shows as none.

Yet currently, all the drives on one VDISK have a simultaneous rapid flickering led like something is being performed on the drives, but I cannot see this or control this from the web gui. This will stop at some point.

Is there anything I can do to determine what is happening on the drives? I'm concerned its causing major performance issues.

Hi, it's not one of these things that happen when you're logged on to the admin interface? (like with iLO on proliants).

Sounds like the "scrub" function. The system is verifying data and RAID consistency, but it is a low-priority background operation.
