I would like to make a backup of my MSA1000 controller configuration. I have read in a previous post about using the HPACUXE utility to create the backup.
http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=748362
My MSA1000 is running in a production mode and I do not want to interrupt that.
QUESTION 1 -
Can the "HPACUXE -C" backup be done live without impact?
QUESTION 2 -
My MSA1000 has two controllers. Do I need to do this backup twice - once on each controller?

Solution
HI,
Yes it can be done without any impact as it takes the Backup from the secondary Partition on the controller Card.
Also config is the same on both controllers you can take the config from both just for any config going corrupt.
You can go through this link as well:
