MSA P2000 G3 Snapshots
hello.
i have a p2000 g3 sas configured for a ms hyper-v cluster with 2 nodes. there are 3 luns, one quorum and 2 cluster shared volumes (csv).
everything works fine!
now i have configured snapshots on the san for my csv volumes each night.
for recovery reasons i want to access these snapshots.
but after mapping the volume to one node the volume stays offline reserved. it seems to be unpossible to map a snapshot volume to a server with mapped source volume because the same unique disk id.
how can i access my snapshots on the cluster node? perhaps by using ms previous versions or is there other software e.g. snapmanager?

Re: MSA P2000 G3 Snapshots
Maybe a backup-application can handle this?
Or maybe you need to present it to a backup server that don't see the original LUN :/

Re: MSA P2000 G3 Snapshots
IMHO is it only possible with another host. I have the same problem and solved it with another host...
