MSA P2000 G3 poor performance
Hi,
I have a test lab with a P2000 G3 with 24 146GB SAS disks. I have the storage connected to a c7000 blade system, testing right now with a single bl460c g6 blade. Connection is 8GB FC.
I have installed esxi 4.1 on the blade, and created a test vm with win2008 r2.
I created a vdisk using 11 sas drives in raid0 (just for testing). After assigning it to a datastore and offering a hdd on it to my test vm, i ran iometer (2mb, seq, read) and i only saw 300-350MB/sec values. I saw about the same performance when i created a raid50 vdisk out of 24 drives.
What is the problem?

Re: MSA P2000 G3 poor performance
Realized the blade only had 4gb mezzanine.
