MSA SCSI IO controller - MSA1500cs?

We have a MSA 1500cs chassis. We have scsi cables attached to what I'm told are the host bus adapters.

I'm asking if the host bust adapters could be considered the scsi io modules. When I look at the diagrams of the exploded view of the chassis it appears that the scsi cables are attached to the scsi io modules.

Hello Mike,

you can't connect a host to the SCSI I/O modules. These modules where designed to connect expansion enclosures. If you want to connect a host to the MSA please use the FC-port at the rear of the controller modules.
