MSA1000 configuration

Dear Sir,

Here is my server configuration :
2 server with each server one only having 1 FC card.
1 MSA1000 with one controller and 1 FC switch controller with type HUB 2/3
And I connected each server to this MSA1000
Can I configured these server and 1 MSA 1000 as cluster configuration using MC/SG ?

Leo,

Although arbitrated loop is supported, it is not recommended in the clustered environment, because its unstable.

Personally, I would like the 2/3 replaced with a 2/8 internal SAN switch and get a stable environment.

Which version of HP-UX and SG are you using?

What Servers and HBA (FC) cards are you using?

What version of Firmware does the MSA1000 run? Is it a single or dual controller? Active/Active or Active/Passive Firmware configuration?

More information is needed to answer your question.

It **may be** working, but since this is really not HA I would use this for testing only.
