MSA1000 does not add MSA30 storage box #3

I have an MSA1000 with an MSA30 SB attached. All is good. I purchased an additional MSA30 which came with a Dual Bus controller (even though I ordered a single bus controller). Anyway, the MSA30 was connected (HOT) to the MSA1000 and the MSA1000 recognized the first 7 bays of Storage Box #3. Realizing at that time that we had received a DB controller instead of a SB controller, our supplier shipped us out the SB controller. When the SB controller is inserted into the MSA30, connected to the MSA1000 and powered up (in a HOT scenario)... the MSA1000 does not recognize the MSA30. I have rebooted the MSA1000 and tried to re-add (HOT) the MSA30 SB, but the MSA1000 still does not recognize. Please advise. Thanks!

Resolved. Turns out the Single Bus controller card was bad. I received a replacement, hot added, and the MSA1000 picked up all 14 bays. No power cycle required on the MSA1000.
