MSA1000 doesn't see newly connected hosts

Hello,
I've just connected 2 servers to the MSA1000 fiber ports.

When I go into the ACU from a different host to the selective storage presentation. I don't see the newly added hosts. I tried rescanning the adapter and still do not see the hosts.

the 2 servers I've connected are ESX 3.5. The ACU utility I'm connecting from is a win2003 host.

I don't want to reboot the msa1000.

are host + storage hba's up and online , no error leds. direct attached or via a switch, if via switch are port leds ok, checked and changed cables.

If the cables and connectivity is fine. Please verify on the Server HBA Bios to check if the MSA Ports are detected.

Hello,

check you zoning and try a recan in the HBA BIOS. If your zoning is fine you should see the control luns of the MSA.
