MSA1000 with MSA Fabric Switch 6 and w2k3

Does anybody know where to get drivers for the MSA Fabric Switch 6 for w2k3?

You should not need any drivers for the Fabric Switch 6. It is just an interconnect that allows communication between the host and the storage.

As far as I can remember, there were no drivers needed for the switch for any Windows OS, but it was soo long ago that I had even seen a Fabric Switch 6, I could be mistaken.

Since the unit is retired now, is there any chance to get a upgrade? Might make things easier, better, more reliable, more flexible, etc.

It might not have what your looking for, but is worth a try.

Jolanda,
I believe What you are looking for is the notification driver for the switch. It used to install with the HBA driver on the
MSA support CD.

Check the appropriate HBA driver on the CD. You can uncompress the HBA smart component.

You need to install this driver (if you are using an Emulex LP 950 HBA)
I have installed it on my w2k3 server and all works fine.
Else you need the scsi driver (not storport)

i dont know if the discussion has been closed, but if not i need for your hel dex-mase.

We have migrate from windows 2000 server to windows 2003 server R2, and after the change part we cant see part of data on scsi disks mounted on raid5.....

We have an emulex lp950 bios rb1.60a5 target (with emulex light pulse bios utility rb1.60a5 and firmware rs3.82a1) included in server proliant dl360 g2.

This target with a fibre chanell HBA (fca-2101) connects by fibre to storage works msamin 1000.

What drivers are must to download?and where are they????Because looking for them, appear a lot....i wish to know the exact driver i have to download.
