MSA20 + DL380G4 & Windows 2008 x64
I have two DL380G4's and two MSA20's.
Recently upgraded them both to Windows 2008 x64 (previously installed: W2k3 R2 x86). Eversince both MSA's have experienced the following:
Failure indication of the hard disk in slot 1.
Twice in a row, testing showed the hard disks are fine!
Spontanious disappearance of the MSA20 from the HP Array configuration util & Windows.
HP Management Agents crash.
What I have tried:
Most recent firmware (8.50CD was used) is installed on both servers & MSA's.
Installed W2k8 SP2 x64.
Installed latest firmware on the DL380G4's.
Installed the latest supportpack 8.20 on the server.
No change, MSA still disappears from time to time. Agent still crashes.
Bug in Windows or some issue with the hardware configuration?

Re: MSA20 + DL380G4 & Windows 2008 x64
I've installed the server with smart start version 8.15, shouldn't the correct driver be loaded upon installation?
Also I have downloaded and installed the latest Support Pack 8.20, this should also install the correct (and latest) driver right?
I'll try to download & install the seperate smart array driver. The server has a 6400 card installed.
