I have two MSA2000's and connecting throught the CLI port vis hyperterm. The first MSA2000 has no issues and I have type commands at the prompt. The second MSA2000 I can connect, but at the prompt it will not show what I am typing. But it does run the command when I hit enter. Any ideas???
Thanks

Re: MSA2000 CLI
Steve,
Sorry about being in the wrong forum... I didn't realize I had posted in the Tru64 forum.
Correct, when I type there is nothing showing on the command prompt. But when I hit return it runs the command I just typed.
It is the same cable just moving from one MSA to the other.
I'll look into the "noecho" setting.
Thanks again,
-D

Re: MSA2000 CLI
Steve,
Thanks for your help. I advised the tech working on the MSA's to look into an echo setting and sure enough.
>echo on
Simple as that....
