MSA2000 vmware ESXi 4 : "no ports found"
Hi there,
I've an issue with a DL495 connected to an MSA2000fc via a cisco 9124 fc-switch.
I tried to map a lun to an ESXi 4 host but result is that in Controller/Port column in Manage Host List I see "no ports found".
All FW are up to date, there is no zoning issue; I tried to extract blade from enclosure but problem still exists.
Do you know what can I do ?

Not familiar with the Cisco switches, but on HP, there's a web interface you can log into to check port status and see the WWN's of the hosts. If you aren't seeing the hosts, something is wrong with the HBA driver, cable, or zoning. Logging into the switch can help you determine where to begin.

Re: MSA2000 vmware ESXi 4 : "no ports found"
Hello,
what type of FC-HBA mezzanine card and interconnect module do you use in the blade chassis?
do you have FC-HBA mezzanine card installed? If yes, check if you plug it into the right slot so that it is matching the right interconnect module of the c-Class chassis.
Best regards,
Patrick

Was a solution to this issue ever determined?
