MSA2012 - VDISK error after replace controller module
Hi All,
We have a MS2012 with one controller only. After the controller module is replace. We have a "vdisk offline" error, and the controller can't recognized the vdisk.
Event Code: 3
Event Serial number: A200
Message: Vdisk Offline: StorPool1. SN....
How can I recover the VDISK.

Re: MSA2012 - VDISK error after replace controller module
Hi,
Check service and maintance to make sure you have followed the right procedure of replacement from the below link.
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodClassId=-1&contentType=SupportManual&docIndexId=64180&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=3687115#2
Also check for the firmware and update the latest firmware.

Re: MSA2012 - VDISK error after replace controller module
We send the SAN box to HP service center, and they did the diagnose and replace the h/w.

Re: MSA2012 - VDISK error after replace controller module
This scares me. HP said I could upgrade my MSA 2012fc to a P2000 by replacing the two controllers. I hope I don't lose the Vdisks. It took 4 days to create them.
