MSA2012FC
Hi All, hopefully someone can help me. My company bought a MSA2012FC and want it setup that multiple servers in our domain can access the volumes created on the MSA2012FC. There is no fibre switch so I need to figure out how to connect to the volumes without the fibre route.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Re: MSA2012FC
Unfortulately it looks like the only option here is buying an FC switch (or change the whole storage).
You'll have to check that the servers you wish to connect have the proper HBA onboard too, or eventually buy them.
Check with your hardware vendor that HBA+FC SWITCH+MSA2012FC are a supported configuration...

Re: MSA2012FC
I'm sorry and I apologize for having answered too quickly and while I was distracted by something else. My answer is wrong.
You can of course do it without a switch, like for instance as shown in the attachment's JPG.
But there are limitations, an FC switch would be much more flexible.
I apologize again for having answered in a wrong way.
