MSA2324FC - SAS drive firmware upgrade

Hi,

I have a new MSA 2324FC storage device.
I am in testing phase to try and get it all patched and ready for production use.
I saw a firmware upgrade for the SAS drive that are installed in the storage device (DG0300BALVP) in the following url:

I tried loading the firmware file (DG0300BALVP3.frm) using the SMU but I get an error (see attached screen shot)

ideas anyone?

Hi,

Its not posible to upgrade fw via SMU with the link you are refering to, reading the release notes:
" The format of this firmware update is only for use with HP Integrity Offline and Online Diagnostic Tools."

The latest fw for that drive is HPD3, but i couldnt find it anywhere.
Try and see if you can find it in the firmware maintenance cd and extract it from there.

If someone has the path for the firmware compatible with insallation via SMU - please let me know.
The link provided below is broken and you can not download the file.
I have FTP'ed the server and looked around but the ZIP file is missing - there are only firmware files (not zipped) for smaller HDD:
