Hello,
I would map an new volume from our MSA to an ESX host. I do the zoning on the san switch (MSA<->ESX) and make an mapping on the MSA for the ESX host.
Then I make an rescan of the HBA in VirtualCenter but I canтАЩt see the volume under storgage adapters ?
Do you have any idea what's going wrong ?
Thanks

Solution
Once again check the zoing on switch and the mapping on the MSA. If everything is perfect then try to disable & enable the HBA on SAN switch(i mean the port on the SAN switch where the host is connected). If the issue still persists then reboot the server and check

Re: Mapping of MSA2312fc volume to an ESX host is not working
You are right. I was a misconfiguration of the zoning. After i correct that the WWN of the HBA of the ESX server appears under hosts on the MSA.
Thank you
