Missing Zone Configuration on Web Tools

Hi,

We have encountered issue with a HP Brocade 4/24 SAN Switch in a C-7000 Blade enclosure. Intermittantly when we try to access the zone configration from the web tools, zone config tab does not show any infomation of the existing zones. Once switch is restarted problem is fixed. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any suggestion for a permenant solution? This switch is running fabric os versin 6.0.1a.

Could be due to memory leak problem.

The web tools in some versions takes time to respond and reflect the correct status due memory hogging on the switch.

When this happens
Login as root
run the vmstat command and paste it here.


Consider upgrading the firmware to newer release.

Login as root and run

$vmstat 5 5

[Rajs]

After firmware upgrade this switch start restarting every few minutes. (in 2, 3 minutes) So we have replaced the SAN switch.
