Just got an MSA2012FC to connect to our HP C3000 Blade System.
I have it connected via a single HP/Brocade Blade San Switch, using two fibre channel cables going to the SAN.
Two of our blades have QLogic HBA's installed, I have created several VDisks and some volumes via the HP Web utility on the MSA2012.
I have assigned LUN0 to 'All Other Hosts' and I can see it in "Computer Management > Disk/Storage Management" when I logon at one of the blades (Windows Server 2008)
However, the volumes I have created on this LUN (a single 250GB and 1GB) each show 4 times in disk management...
It appears to be working if I select one instance of each and bring it online and format it, but I guess something isn't configured quite right.
Any ideas what I've done wrong ?
Thanks!

SolutionHP MPIO FF DSM should do the trick.
What it does is it hides the paths you're not using.

For MPIO downloads.
As this is your first question on the board, please don't forget to give poinst on answers :)

Re: New MSA2012FC Shows Volumes Multiple Times!?
Thanks for your reply.
I have already installed the MPIO feature that comes with Windows Server 2008.
Do I still need the extra HP stuff that you linked to?
Bit of a newb when it comes to SAN so still figuring this stuff out :)

Re: New MSA2012FC Shows Volumes Multiple Times!?
Yeup, you're right.
The MPIO needs the DSM from the provider to know what to do with the devices :)
The MPIO manager gives you a little info but the path failover should be fairly automagic.

Re: New MSA2012FC Shows Volumes Multiple Times!?
If you want to test the failover of paths, the only way I know of is to actual plug a cable and see if it switches over.
Also don't forget to give points to posts :p
