Do you know what XCS version is running on the EVA? Maybe you can get this from the front panel.

CV 6 is most likely too old, try the current 10.3 version! CV6 only supports XCS5.x

You need a newer CV version:

Try to install Cv 10.3

1. Unistall CV 6.0

2. Run as admin instakk CV 10.3

3. Error

Finally install CV 10

but still got no storage system

Could you go to the following location

 

C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Sanworks\Element Manager for StorageWorks HSV

 

and open a command prompt in that location them execute following commands,

 

# cvutil paths

 

# cvutil scmi

Thanks for the rely,

 

In the attached o/p i see the SCMI state is busy so i would recommend restarting commands view service in management staion. if that did not help please power cycle EVA.

 

Note : SCMI is the type of service that lets the management server and EVA talk to each other.
