SolutionCheck the link status LEDs of both loop pairs at the back of the 2 HSV controllers.
Check the Service LEDs at the back of each Disk shelf.
By the way, which EVA configuration you have?
How did you power on the EVA ( sequences )???

Re: One loop connection lost
1. Make sure power switches on controllers are in off position.
2. Power on PDU's. Wait till all drawers come online and disks spin up. Check ID's on drawers and make sure there are no confilcts.
3. Power on controllers, 1 at a time.
4. Verify array in Command View.

Re: One loop connection lost
I guess , now you know which things should be looked upon in such situation.
Make sure always to do application, database shutdown, EVA LUNs un-mounted before proceeding with EVA shutdown.
You can refer following EVA 5000 User guide for startup and shutdown sequences.

Re: One loop connection lost- Controller Cache Battery was faulty
We are experiencing performance issue on EVA 6400 . We replaced the Controller Cache battery and There is no error in Controller now. But still One loop connection fail shows in 40% of the disk.
