P6300 HDD code load HDDBundled_SAS_Image_2012_02_13 not working

Hi,

I'm trying to do the HDD code load with the file HDDBundled_SAS_Image_2012_02_13, but it give me a error on the following drives:

2TB 3.5 HDD - MB2000FAMYV - HPD3  

trying to upgrade from HPD3 to HPD5

the error I get is this:

status: Drive code load - The descriptor file could not be opened.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi

Unzip the bundle and check the file HDDfw_index.txt

I found only two 2TB models there

MB2000FAMYV HPD5 MB2000FAMYV_HPD5.lod

MB2000FBZPN HPD1 MB2000FBZPN_HPD1.lod

it seems your drive is listed you can try a code load directly on the drive it-self

try downloading the bundle again. 

or maybe there is something wrong with the drive

you can contact HP I have seen counterfeit drives that give strange errors
