P6300 - How to get rid of old WWN

Hi,

I have been asking to cleanup a config including a P6300SAN and fabric switch. The fabric switch included some old zoning information. I have cleanup up all the zoning on the fabric but those WWN still showing up on the StorageWorks Command View EVA. (See the attached picture)

I would like to know the steps I need to follow to be ensure that no trace of the old hardware still showing up in the command view EVA.

Thanks

Hi

the WWWNs that you see are some servers or HBAs that were on the SAN the EVA remembers them until you power off the EVA.

Re: P6300 - How to get rid of old WWN

Hello, Eva reboot is not needed, this happens occasionaly. What you need is to resynchronize both EVA controllers, it could by done by web gui in "field administrator mode". This is not suitable for user, so please ask you HP support to do this.
