Path Flap on Solaris Hosts connected to EVA5000
Two different Solaris boxes experience simultaneous pathway-flapping. A pathway is reported as down, then available a second or so later. Netware servers connected to the same EVA5000 (also running secure path) do not report problems accessing the same subsystem.
The boxes in question:
1.) They are both running Solaris 9
2.) They are running Secure Path version 3.0C
3.) They both used a qla2300 (qlogic 2300) and they both have 2 qlogic 2300 cards installed

Re: Path Flap on Solaris Hosts connected to EVA5000
This is very interesting. I am having the exact same thing happening solaris 9 secure path 3.0C (sp1 I think) and hsg80 storage and qlogic cards in dual fabric hp rebadged brocade 2300 sanswitchs in a dedicated san.
hmm. I have a case open with HP and they are still investigating.
