Re: Planned for replication

Hi Ess,

There are two types of Replications â Remote Replication, That is Continuous Access And Local Replications, that consists of Snapshot, Snapclone & Mirrorclone.

Continuous Access replicates data between two EVAs located at two geographically separated sites, if one EVA completely fails other becomes active â This is a Disaster Recovery Solution.

Local Replication is mainly used to make another local copy of data, which can be used for taking backup or report generation etc.

Looks like you are looking for Continuous Access(CA) Solution, best is to start with reading the CA implementation guide at

Re: Planned for replication

Personally, I would love to help, but there are so many issues to consider, and you seem to be just starting with the technology, I would be hesitant to start you down a path without a local, or dedicated remote, expert to show you the way.

It is not just getting the commands right that set it up.
