Re: Problems G-Port

Hello,

It would be nice to get some background to this issue to be able to suggest anything. Firstly, when did you notice this change in the port status? Secondly, what devices are connected to these 4 ports?

And, lastly, were there any changes made to the SAN switch or any of the connected devices prior to this issue?

In addition, please do let me know the Fabric OS version running on this SAN switch

Regards,
NKC

Re: Problems G-Port

You usually see a g-port if there is something connected (light received) but not logged in for any reason.

Hope this helps!

"You usually see a g-port if there is something connected (light received) but not logged in for any reason."

An example: the server hasn't booted into its OS yet.
