Problems with Command View and MPIO

Hi all,

i installed Command View for EVA and MPIO
on a DL380 G4. (Windows Server 2003 SE)

After installing MPIO, Command View can┬┤t see the EVA. (3000)

Does Commad View need all Paths to the EVA ?

Thanks in advance !

Re: Problems with Command View and MPIO

CV-EVA can work with a single path if it goes to the master controller, but MPIO should not filter the LUN 0 anyway.

Roell:

Do you have the latest versions installed?

I believe CV-EVA is up to 4.0.1 (assuming you have 4.x).

Also, which version of MPIO did you install?

Re: Problems with Command View and MPIO

Hi,

its CV-Version 3.3 and MPIO Version 1.0

I tried it with version 4.0 of CV, but it
was the same..

Do you have EVA PLatform kit installed? You must use FC HBA driver from the kit and not the newer one from Proliant Support pack i think.

Re: Problems with Command View and MPIO

Thanks to all for your help !

I forgot to install HP SMIS BEVOR install
Command View.

If I install SMIS first, then Command View
and then MPIO, it works !
