RHEL5 plus MSA2012i

Hi All,

We are connecting an MSA2012i array to rhel5 server (dl380 G5).

All the configuration are done, on the array side (by creating the array and configuring the management and host ports) and on the initiator side (by running the iscsi doing the discovery and restarting the iscsi).

But the problem is that we are not seeing the array from the HP server (/sbin/fdisk -l)

I followed several articles for iscsi configuration but don't know why not seeing the array.

Can anyone help here please.

Thanks,
Mike

You mean 'virtual disk'? But that is only a RAID container. You also need to create one or more volumes and map them to hosts/host ports.

Hi,

as mentioned above you have to create Volumes on MSA2000, map the volume to the server then you can see the luns under server.
if you are using HP driver package then execute the following to check

1 hp_rescan
2 lssd
