Re: RSM - Remove Storage System

RSM - Remove Storage System

Hi all, we have moved from one EVA4000 to another EVA4400, We have eliminated the old one from CV by uninitializing it, and shutting it down, and it does not appears in it.

However in RSM, it is always there, in the storage systems tab (the name has changed to the WWN when we uninitialized it).

How can I remove it from the RSM?

Re: RSM - Remove Storage System

Have you rebooted the command View server yet?

Re: RSM - Remove Storage System

Command View and RSM are in the same server. It was restarted (the full server) after the was shutdown.

It was when Command View stopped showing the old EVA, but RSM is still showing it.

Re: RSM - Remove Storage System

Have you clicked the global refresh button on RSM? This is needed to update the database when hardware or configuration changes are done outside RSM.

Re: RSM - Remove Storage System

There is probably an entry in the rsm database so a db refresh needs to happen.

Re: RSM - Remove Storage System

Yes, Ihave clicked the global refresh button on RSM. The last step is storage systems, but it stills continue there.

The only thing I can think is to reinstall RSM, but I hope there will be another solution.

It has been waiting for 3 days since it all happened so with the "auto-refresh" every 3 hours, it would have to be cleaned.

Any other suggestion?
