Re-configuring MSA2312i VDisk
Back Ground:
MSA2312i with 12 - 1TB drives in RAID 50,
1 VDisk created to use all available space (10TB),
2 - Windows 2008 R2 head units (iSCSI initators with MPIO) each shows new 10TB volume as drive E: .
After recently configuring the MSA2312i with 1 VDisk (10TB in size), I found that i cannot use snapshots unless i add an additional enclosure with the same capacity (oversight on my part as i am new at this). So now i need to redo the MSA with 2 VDisks of 5.4TB each (1 for data, 1 for snapshots). Before doing so, what steps do i have to take to remove the iSCSI targets drives (E:) that are currently on the head units?
