Required components and connections to manage EVA8400.
Does the Command View server need to be connected to a SAN switch(es) in or der to manage the EVA8400? Or can be direct-attached to the EVA8400?
Thanks in advance. MT4.

Re: Required components and connections to manage EVA8400.
Both options are valid, but not all fiber channel cards support direct connect to the EVA. Check that in http://h20272.www2.hp.com/.

Re: Required components and connections to manage EVA8400.
Normal practice is to have the Command View server connected to switches and the EVA also connected to the switches. Direct connecting has other implications.
