SAN SW 2/8 MSA1000 Firmware update
Hi, I need to upgrade two MSA1000 switches, now the version 3.1.2 is installed, I found the version 3.2.1c in the web, but may I upgrade the switches directly to the 3.2.1c o aditionals upgrades are needed ???
Also, the MSA is on 4.48 with a cluster, but reading the release notes the version 5.20 doesnt work with clustering! That is correct?
Regards;

Re: SAN SW 2/8 MSA1000 Firmware update
You can upgrade directly to 3.2.1c.
MSA1000 with 5.20 supports MS clustering.
It was not supported initially when it was released a couple of years ago.
Ensure you have Multipathing at following versons when moving to 5.20
Secure Path 4.0c SP2-9
MPIO Basic 1.40
Also update the HBA fw/dr and storport components
Also Critical: On the MSA1000, downgrading from active/standby firmware version 5.20 to active/standby firmware 4.x is not supported and will result in the loss of the array configuration. If migration back to active/standby firmware is necessary, a full data backup and recording of the array configuration on the MSA1000 is required
