San Manager software

Guru's,
I have to install San Manage ron one of my L Class servers running 11.11.......

Do I get it off of a cd? Download? How do I go about installing it?
I apologize for the silly questions but I am 100% NEW to UNIX.

Or would it be the CommandView software?

I think it depends on your SAN. The VAs run CommandView, but I'm not sure on EVAs, etc.

It is a VA 7420... so CommandView is what I need?

Does it have install Instructions?

Do I just Gunzip the file?

hi,

just use gzip to decompress and them use swinstall to install the extracted depot.
