Second Hand EVA 5000 and Command View Licence

Greetings to all. I have just bought a second hand EVA 5000 from a company that "liquifies" off-lease products. I am very excited since it is my first "Enterprise Class" hardware that I am dealing with. I haven't started it yet since I have to buy all the cables (it came without any of them). As you can understand there isn't also any software at all. I was wondering what happened to the CV licence that this EVA used to have? Can I claim it? Or I must buy it again? Thank you in advance for your time and effort answering my question.

Re: Second Hand EVA 5000 and Command View Licence

Hello George,

you have to buy a license of Command View EVA for you EVA. CV EVA is licenced by raw capacity, so if your EVA hastt 4 TB, you have to buy four 1 TB LTU (license-to-use) of Commnand View EVA.

Best regards,
Patrick
