Server does not reboot after driver Update QLA2340 (FCA2412)

After the driver update to version 9.1.7.17 the server does not reboot.
Server: HP Proliant DL380
OS: Windows 2003 SP2
HBA: Qlogic 2340 / HP FCA2412
Current driver: 9.1.3.11

With the current driver the system does not recognize the new HP EVA 8400 (HSV450)

What can I do?

Re: Server does not reboot after driver Update QLA2340 (FCA2412)

I suppose it's an FCA2214, FCA2412 does not exist.

Install the driver from HP:

9.1.7.17 13 May 2009
or
9.1.8.17 14 Aug 2009

They come with SACDaa.inf which contains the definitions for HSV300, HSV400 and HSV450 controllers.

What does "the server does not reboot" mean?
Does it hang during shutdown?

I just tried the driver in both suggested driver version.

The server "hang" in the boot process. It appears the windows logo with the rolling symbol below. It continues to roll, but the server does not start. I waited more then 10 minutes.

Disconnect the fiber, does it boot OK then?
What storage do you have connected to this server besides the EVA? Each port on it's own zone?
