Server sees wrong capacity size
Hello
I am trying to present a lun from an EVA3000 to Windows 2000 server. The lun is 305GB but when I present the lun to the server the server sees the lun size as 2TB. When I present the lun to different server is behaves correctly.
Thanks

Re: Server sees wrong capacity size
Hi, doubly-post. http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Storage-Area-Networks-SAN/Server-sees-wrong-capacity-size/m-p/5865455#M62863
Does Windows 2000 server support larger than 2TB disks?
http://www.dulcesystems.com/html/2tb_limit.html suggests it does not.
The site suggests that you create many 2TB LUNs and present them all to the OS that does not support larger than 2TB disks. If you want them all to be under the same disk you'll need to create a dynamic spanning disk.
