Re: Silkworm switch - SN router connectivity issue

Hi,

I think you have to define a mapping on the SN router 3300. On many SCSI-to-Fibre bridges you have to define mappings (WWNs to SCSI devices) so that the hosts can see the tape devices.
Also, check if there is any zoning defined on the Brocade switch. Can you login to the switch and post the output of the switchshow command?

Re: Silkworm switch - SN router connectivity issue

Dear Stephen,

Thanks alot for the reply.

SN router to Storage l20 tape library is connected to SCSI cable.

Silkworm switch to SN router 3300 connected FC cable.

Today I have removed the both cables and connected the same and I have restarted the SN router after I have able to access Storage l20 tape library.

Thank you very much Stephen.

Regards,
Masthan.
