Snapshot for MSA2312 Disk System
I have an MSA2312 and have installed the HP Snapshot 255 license. Presently there are a number of VMWare VM's running on a volume. If I create a snapshot of that volume do I have to stop the VM's or take any precautions before a snapshot is created or schedule? (BTW - there is plenty of free space in the vDisk to put the snapshot.) Thanks.

Re: Snapshot for MSA2312 Disk System
I recommend you to stop all activity on a LUN and flush all buffers to it (if there's some), if you are going to make a snapshot. In other case there's a quite big probability that you'll have unusable filesystem on your snapshot.
