Some question about EVA 4400

Good morning,i had some questions about EVA4400

I have received the disk shelf with 12 hard disk

Is possible to connect it directly to my server

or i need a module/controller like this?

Hi

a disk shelf can not work on it's own

you must have a controller shelf

too

if you have a disk shelf for EVA4400 I think the model is m6412

than you can use controllers of EVA4400 EVA6400 or EVA8400

also you need four cables between the contrller and the disk enclosure

search for HP StorageWorks 4400 Enterprise Virtual
Array installation guide (Part number: 514017–001) I have attached PDF

I think the EVA4400 should be cheapest

On ebay i see a lot of HSV-200,they said(the vendors) for 4400

but on web i can't found nothing about compatibility with 4400

for hsv200(is for 4000 and 4100 as i know).

Someone know if is possible to get working the

AG638B HP StorageWorks M6412A with hsv200?

this is not for HSV200 its only for EVA4400 (HSV300)  EVA6400 (HSV400)  and EVA8400 (HSV450)

As i see in this documents the 210 seems to work with 4400
