Status "No_Module" Brocade 8/12c SAN Switch for C7000 Chasis
Good day!
I have two Brocade B-series 8/12c SAN Switches for C7000 Chasis. Also I have 4 blades in enclosure and 2x SFP modules on each switch to connect to EMC VNX storage.
One switch have initialize correctly and I can see internal 4x blade-server HBA adapters and I can see 2x 8GB SFP modules also.
But on second switch I can see internal 4x blade-server HBA adapters but both ports 18,19 (in which 2x 8GB SFP modules are installed) are in U-Port status and No_module state is shown. There are some detailes:

Re: Status "No_Module" Brocade 8/12c SAN Switch for C7000 Chasis
hi,
portdisable; portenable sometimes does the trick.
does portcfgshow show any differences?
No_Module would usually indicate that there isn't an sfp installed. Try different ports in the bad switch. Restart the switch.
Perhaps there are Fabric OS updates available.

Re: Status "No_Module" Brocade 8/12c SAN Switch for C7000 Chasis
portcfgshow show no any differences between good and bad switches.
So that bad switch is replaced switch by HP. It had 6.4.4 firmware when it came to me. I upgraded the firmware to 7.0.0d but without result.
Portenable and disable didn`t help. :(
Thanks for advice!

Re: Status "No_Module" Brocade 8/12c SAN Switch for C7000 Chasis
If new switch doesn't help, SFPs work in another identical switch, then I'd say the problem follows the interconnect slot in the c-class enclosure. Did you also test the SFPs in other ports in the "bad" switch?
