StorNext
Hi,
we are looking for a scalable storage solution for large amounts of video data (300-700 TB). Most of the files will be written to disk and never be changed, some will be read again and many will never be accessed. Nevertheless all data should be accessible all the time.
Most of the clients are windows, but there are also some linux clients around.
Someone recently told us that Quantum's Stoxnext could be an ideal solution.
I'd a look a the specifications and it looks promesing but I didn't find much user feedback about Stornext.
Anyone around with experience in Stornext? Any major pitfalls?
