Support for booting from SAN
I,
I have a storage array EVA P6500 Dual Controller FC and 1 GB iSCSI (AJ939A) in fabric mode with two switches FC brocade 300 (SAN Switch HP 8/24) with several servers connected to these switches using FC HBAs. The connections is 8 Gb/s
I want to install a linux server with their SO in the SAN (boot from SAN)
My question is:
Is it possible booting from SAN with the array and the switches listed above ?
Please, provide me any clues according your experience.
Thanks in advance,
Roger
