Updating Firmware on HP Storage SAN Switch 4/8

Can you update the firmware on a HP Storage SAN switch 4/8 (A8000A) from 6.1.1b straight to the latest firmware 6.2.2e or are there any intermediate steps/firmware required?

Hello,

you can update directly from 6.1.x to 6.2.x. But you shouldn't overleap minor releases, for example go from 6.0 directly to 6.2.

In the release notes for each firmware you can see which is the lowest firmware that this can be upgraded from.
