Guys, my customer have a 2C4D EVA3000. He wants to upgrade it to EVA4000. I've read somewhere that I can re-use the disk enclosure and disks. Things that needed to be replace is the controller.
Any other other thoughts?
I cant seem to find the manual for EVA3000- eva4000. I did see eva3000 to eva4100. Any thoughts highly appreciated

Solution
You need to replace I/O modules and EMUs on the disk enclosures.
I can't find this document on the HP site, but there's a copy here:
http://www.dectrader.com/docs/set1/emr_na-c00610511-4.pdf
Also it's different if you want to update to an EVA4000 or to an EVA4100. They use different I/O modules.
