Re: W2K3EE, MPIO Basic, EVA5K
You mean you see 4 "hidden" disks for each disk? You have enabled "show hidden devices" in device manager's view menu?
Do you run sp1?
Anything in the eventlogs?

Re: W2K3EE, MPIO Basic, EVA5K
I do have SP1
Is there a DSM needed for this configuration?

Re: W2K3EE, MPIO Basic, EVA5K
Any reason why you swapped SP with Basic MPIO? Was SP not working properly? Your probably better off staying with SP on your existing servers rather that swapping and using MPIO on any new servers.
Since you now have Basic MPIO, there is no way to see which paths you are seeing as there is no interface to the DSM.
Can you clear your event logs, reboot the machine... then attach a saved copy of them (after the servers comes back up) to a message here so we can look at them?
What version of VCS are you at on your EVA5000?

Re: W2K3EE, MPIO Basic, EVA5K
I am at 3.025 VCS on the EVA.
I included the event logs from the system and a screen shot of Device Manager with one path of the EVA LUN expanded. There are 4 EVA disks there - they = one LUN. But it does not show in Disk Manager.

Re: W2K3EE, MPIO Basic, EVA5K
Can you also expand out some other device groupings...? Specifically "SCSI and RAID Controllers" and "Storage Volumes".
