What EVA is this? 3000/ 4000?

I bought an offlease EVA and I am wondering what it is..
it has M5214 PN#344819-b21 shelves and HSV110 controllers PN#252556-001

i have an EVA3000 and this one looks a bit different. First off this one doesn't have a Management appliance.

i attached a picture.

Yes its better - support for more drives (240) vs 56 on the 3000

The SMA has never been part of an EVA unit. You had to order it extra. Well, when the EVA was all new, all orders had to go through presales and were checked to make sure an SMA was on the list.

But you do need a management server.

If you have another EVA, then you probably have a management server. You would not need another management server to manage the new eva.. you can use the existing one.
